There is this group of kids of all different nationalities and they have to fight this like neighborhood issue/ war everyday full of killings and robberies between the blacks and Latinas and Asians ext.. School is the same way and they get this teacher named Erin Gruell and she teaches them to be kind and write the stories of their lives in this diary and in the end along with pivotal events they learn to be a family. she gets them to open up and she tries to understand their backround . she gets them to believe in themselves so they can start to do well in school and in their lives.
I love this film because its inspirational and many people can relate to it. it has meaning.
